In 1858 Henry Boller started his way in the fur trade on the Upper Missouri for the American Fur Company. In this work of great historic value he relates his 8 years of experiences with the Montana Indians while acting a fur trader for the Company. It has been said that his account is one of the most well written and authentic narratives of the trade in fur, being one of the few covering the period it addresses. At the end of his 8 years of a fur trader he spent time with the Mormons of Utah. This book published in 1868 has been reformatted for the Kindle and may contain an occasional defect from the original publication or from the reformatting.
